Our Logo

The olive tree provides shade and shelter as well as food; therefore, it nurtures and protects. Our goal is to nurture less fortunate people who are, presently, not able to nurture themselves.

The olive tree on our logo is unique because it has two trunks intertwined. For us, these trunks depict the combined benefits of receiving and giving charity. For those receiving, not only do they receive material benefits but they also receive the caring love of those who provide the charity.  Many unfortunate people have not been loved for years, if ever.

The givers of charity benefit, not only from the satisfaction of giving in gratitude to God for all the gifts we have received, but we also pass the value of giving on to our children and grandchildren.

The olive tree sits on an upward-sloping hill. The hill depicts our goals of growing and progressing so that we may provide ever-increasing services.

We give and we receive, realizing that we’re all in this life journey together.

About Giving Back To Humanity

Giving Back to Humanity is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization based in Atlanta, GA. The three-phase goal of this group is to support poor and needy people in securing adequate food, water, clothing and jobs.
PHASE 1:
Our initial goal was to provide nutritious, balanced meals to homeless and other needy people in downtown Atlanta each week. We have provided these meals to a growing population of clients for more than three years, and continue to do so.
We also offer free haircuts to our needy clients, who would not otherwise be able to afford them.
PHASE 2:
With our 501(c)3, we are now ready to rent an office space where we can serve meals if necessary, and for this we are very much in need of sponsorship and individual donations.
PHASE 3:
Ultimately, we plan to locate in a building spacious enough for us to provide a variety of counseling services, as well as clothing and household items for families who are able to move into homes.
OUR HISTORY:
Four years ago, we began with a few families and individuals bringing home-cooked food to serve, one day each week. Today we serve nutritious, balanced meals, including meats which are acceptable in Muslim beliefs, to approximately 350 women, children and men every Sunday.
